GLCS has a rich history of community service in Southeastern Minnesota. Since 1980, concerned parties have been able to contact GLCS and obtain information about a large variety of topics relating to the G.L.B.T. community. The services provided by GLCS are done in a confidential and respectful manner. Services include:

• Social and recreational events for members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community and their friends
• Coming out resources, as well as referrals to GLBT friendly counseling and area clergy
• Referrals to support groups for GLBT youth, family and friends, and GLBT adults
• Information on HIV/AIDS, as well as educational materials and referrals to support groups
• An extensive list of area professionals (clergy, lawyers, doctors, etc.) who are understanding of the GLBT community.
